Frisco, Texas has roots that trace back to the rails. Originally established as a stop along the St. Louis–San Francisco Railway—often shortened to “Frisco”—the town took its name directly from the line that helped put it on the map. Another major line, the Houston and Texas Central Railway, also ran through the area, turning this small stop into an early point of connection and growth in North Texas.

What began as a railroad town has grown into one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, but that sense of movement and momentum still feels baked in. From its historic downtown to its modern skyline, Frisco continues to evolve while holding onto the story of how it started.
