Junius Heights has always had a bit of a story to it. Back in 1906, when the neighborhood was first being sold, buyers didn’t just stroll in and casually pick a lot. They waited. And at exactly midnight—signaled by a fired pistol—sales officially began. Within 45 minutes, over 200 lots were gone, and just days later, the entire neighborhood had sold out.
 
That kind of energy still lingers here. What started as the eastern edge of Dallas has become one of its most established and character-filled neighborhoods. Today, Junius Heights is known for having one of the largest collections of Craftsman bungalows in the city, with homes that feel both timeless and deeply personal.
